-This is a website about doing code “old school” style.
-This is not another tutorial written by a beginner as he himself is learning things. We have too many of those as-is.
-At the time of this writing (early 2015), I have been writing programs for thirty years, professionally so for fifteen.
-I have written forum posts, [[https://stackoverflow.com/users/60281/devsolar | Q&A]] answers, documentations, tutorials and how-tos. I even had a couple of student trainees looking over my shoulder. The generally positive feedback has encouraged me to put some of my thoughts, findings and advice into writing.
-Also, my own kids asked me to teach them programming. And to my mind, there is only one way to do it: Old school style.
