This is a website about doing code “old school” style.

This is not another tutorial written by a beginner as he himself is learning things. We have too many of those as-is.

At the time of this writing (early 2015), I have been writing programs for thirty years, professionally so for fifteen.

I have written forum posts, Q&A answers, documentations, tutorials and how-tos. I even had a couple of student trainees looking over my shoulder. The generally positive feedback has encouraged me to put some of my thoughts, findings and advice into writing.

Also, my own kids asked me to teach them programming. And to my mind, there is only one way to do it: Old school style.
